Microsoft have confirmed the problem on its Xbox Live Status page, explaining that the issues was known to the support team and was being looked at.
“Are you having trouble matchmaking in games like FIFA 15, Madden 15 or the Battlefield: Hardline Beta?” an official Xbox post reads.
“We are aware of the issue and working alongside our partner to get things back to normal as soon as we can.
“We appreciate your patience during this process, Xbox members. Weâ€™ll update you on our progress as soon as we have more information.”
The EA Support have also informed fans on Twitter that the issues connected with matchmaking was connected with Xbox services.
Replying to a request on why Battlefield 4 wasn’t available, the EA team confirmed: “It seems the Xbox Services are limited currently .”
It follows the news that Microsoft have begun rolling out its Xbox One February system update, making a range of improvements to the platform.
It includes controller and Dashboard updates and also adds new party chat features and overall improved stability.
